Volkswagen unveils retro ‘hippy’ camper
All-electric version of 60's microbus hits streets of Europe this fall
Looking for a totally retro vehicle with a modern touch?
Volkswagen has announced the release of an all-electric version of their popular “hippy” camper van from the 1960s.
The eco-friendly ID Buzz is made from recycled materials, has a memory function for automated parking, lots of storage space, and seats up to five people.
The cars will be delivered first in Europe this fall. Prices start at around 52-thousand dollars.
The North American reveal will come in 2023.
