Jenna Ortega is reportedly eyeing a role in Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice 2."
Rumour says she's in talks to play Lydia Deets, the emo goth girl from the original 1988 film, who helps the good-natured ghosts of her new home get rid of the anti-hero Beetlejuice.
It's the role that Winona Ryder famously played in the original film.
"Beetlejuice 2" has been in the works for years but recently kicked into high gear with Tim Burton set to direct.
If Ortega gets the role, it will be her latest project with the famed director.
Burton previously directed a couple of episodes of the hit Netflix show "Wednesday" in which Ortega stars.
Not many details are known about the sequel except that Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Beetlejuice.
Meanwhile, Ortega has been working hard while promoting the latest Scream film " Screams 6" and preparing to host Saturday Night Live on March 11.
