A Nottawasaga OPP officer and public health nurse with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit have been making a lot of noise with public awareness campaigns about drug use, mental health, and general well-being. So much noise in fact that they were honoured by the OPP commissioner for their work.

2) The Shoebox Project...
A charity that's been running for 11 years, the Shoebox Project. a local initiative that aims to support people who are most vulnerable and remind them they are not alone through the holiday season.

3) Barrie Colts Update...
The Barrie Colts are near the top of the standings in the Central Division of the OHL standings. they have 3 road games this week to try and keep their position.

4) Barrie YMCA Facility Update...
The prep work continues for the upcoming YMCA facility in Barrie. Still have a few years to wait, but when it is finished it will offer new hope for troubled youth. All in the form of transitional housing.
