1) Election Season Starts in Barrie
We are right in the middle of election season. All the parties have been out in full-force campaigning, including Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie. Who kicked off her campaign last week in Barrie alongside our region's Liberal candidate Dr. Rose Zacharias.
They both stopped by the Barrie 360 studio to chat with Ian MacLennan about where the Liberals want to take us if they get elected…
2) Doing More for Housing Solutions
For years Redwood Park Communities has been at the forefront of providing housing solutions for seniors, people with disabilities, and the homeless. They’ve provided Sixty-Four housing units to date that have helped five hundred people. But, they’re looking to do more with a new fundraising program…

3) Summer Hockey for Kids is Back!
We are in the depths of winter and hockey season. And despite how it feels, there isn’t much left of the season and summer will soon be here. If you’re a hockey family, you might be looking for hockey-related activities for the kids to do this summer… Good news, Justin Blanchet, the student from St Peter’s Catholic School who introduced the ONLY youth summer hockey league last year is doing it again. And after last year’s success, he is planning on expanding

4) Trash Talkin’
The City of Barrie is getting closer to its switchover to big bins on wheels for trash day. Currently giving residents a chance to choose the size of bin they will need. So, we thought it would be a great idea to chat with Stephanie Mack. She’s an Associate Director of Waste Management in Barrie.
She chats with Barrie 360’s Will Konken about how the switch affects Businesses and Residents…
5) Strategies for Trash Talkin’
When a major change like the ones in garbage collection happens, there are a lot of questions and complaints. There is an art to handling these situations with the public and calming the savage beast. Joan Johnston, an award-winning author from Barrie, has been there, developed strategies, and put them in her book called Customer Whisperer- Turning Complaints into Compliments with a Wave of Your Hand.
She shares some of her Knowledge with Ian MacLennan…
6) Barrie Colts Update
The Barrie Colts are starting to look like playoff locks this year after they picked up another win this weekend. This win gives them a little bit of breathing room in the Eastern Conference.
