1) No More Fireworks in Orillia
There will be a lot of feedback about this one, but Orillia City Council has decided to ban fireworks. Except for special occasions that are specifically approved by the council, they are pushing for other municipalities to do the same.

2) Barrie Colts Update
The Colts' season has officially come to an end. They were able to push the series to 6 games even though most thought it would be a clean sweep.

3) April POOLS Day
Approximately 160 people drown in Ontario every year and in most cases those deaths are avoidable. The Town of Bradford is making an effort to slow those numbers this year by hosting an April POOLS Day event this weekend to teach adults and children some critical lifesaving water skills.
