OPP lay 46 Stunt Driving charges in first 8 days of 2019
Here we are, just eight full days into 2019, and OPP have already written 46 tickets for Stunt Driving.
High rates of speed are an issue any time of year but a bigger concern during the slippery conditions of winter.
Those responding to a tweet by Highway Safety Division Sergeant Kerry Schmidt offering some interesting solutions…
Name them and shame them and take their car!

Right on! I like your style. If the driver is the owner of the vehicle CRUSH IT! Fines, demerit points, suspension, impounding the car all of these are not working. Change the Law, that may smarten one or two HOONS up!

Speed limiters for EVERYONE, unless it’s got lights & siren, it CAN’T go any faster than 115km/hr…good for gas mileage, emissions, insurance rates, tires, stress, accident severity, longevity of your vehicle, see where I’m headed here!? Oh, blow n go for all to boot. Nuff said.
