Will Dwyer continues push toward Terry Fox Fundraising goal

Ninety-Four-year-old at Barrie Farmers Market to talk to supporters

One more Saturday until the Terry Fox Run, and Barries own Will Dwyer is drumming up donations at the Barrie Farmers Market. Ninety-Four-year-old Dwyer has been there every Saturday since August collecting donations for the Terry Fox Run.

Last year he reached his long time goal of raising $1 million and immediately said he would try to raise another million.

This year, organizers have planned a “One Day. You’re Way” event. Participants can walk, run, or bike around their homes or street.

Will plans to ride his scooter around his retirement home for 5km.

You can donate by visiting Will at the Barrie Farmers Market on September 19th, or online here
