Will Dwyer's family continues his legacy of helping the Terry Fox Foundation.
Robert Dwyer, Will's son, will be in downtown Barrie on Saturday to fundraise for a cause that was so important to his dad.
Known as Barrie's "Million Dollar Man," Will collected funds for the Terry Fox Foundation for over forty years.
He finally hit his goal of raising $1 million in 2019 but pledged to raise another million.
Will passed away on May 8 at 96 years old, but his family continues to do his work.

Robert Dwyer says he's already begun fundraising and would love people to come out and meet with him to talk about his dad.
He says his dad had a passion for helping people.
"I've seen this, especially over the last five years. I would take him around to his regular supporters, and it hit home on what he was trying to do: help others."
"I plan to continue raising as long as I can in memory of him, he says.

Dwyer is joining the Terry Fox Foundation during Open Air Dunlop on Saturday, July 23, at their tent in downtown Barrie as the organization kicks off its Trikes & Bikes for Terry event.
People are encouraged to tricycle, bicycle, or scooter down Dunlop Street between 11 am and 12 pm.
Swing by their tent at the corner of Dunlop & Owen Streets and get some SWAG to decorate your bikes.
This year's Terry Fox run is September 18.
