Winter storm expected to hit Barrie late Wednesday
Snowfall amounts intensifying late day Wednesday.
Environment Canada expects a winter storm to hit Barrie, Orillia, Midland and Collingwood Wednesday and Wednesday night.
The weather agency issued a Winter Storm Warning Tuesday. The worst of it is expected to start Wednesday afternoon with heavy snow continuing through Wednesday night before tapering to flurries Thursday morning.
It’s expected to dump snowfall amounts of 10 to 25cm. This snow is the result of a Texas Low that will track over Eastern Ontario Wednesday night.
