This will test the bond of friendship.

Provincial police were on patrol in downtown Huntsville on Sunday evening when they spotted the driver of a vehicle making multiple traffic violations.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and during their chat with the female driver they noticed she was under the influence of a substance.

"The driver advised she had consumed drugs recently. The driver was taken to a Drug Recognition Officer for drug testing," police said in a news release.

As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old Huntsville woman was charged with impaired driving.

The accused was issued a 90-day licence suspension, and the car belonging to her friend was impounded for seven days.
