Woman lost consciousness during Oro Medonte attack Wednesday evening
Suspect had a deep voice
Police are hoping someone can shed light on an attack in Oro Medonte.
A woman in her 50s was walking her dog on Maple Ridge Road just after 7 p.m. Wednesday when police say she was attacked by an unknown male. Reports suggest the woman’s dog leash was wrapped around her neck before she was dragged towards a wooded area. She did not clearly see her attacker and believes she lost consciousness at some point, but does recall him having a deep voice.
The woman was treated and released from a local hospital, having suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the attack.
