A Barrie woman is facing charges after being arrested for shoplifting Wednesday in the city's north end.
Just after 8 p.m., a loss prevention officer contacted Barrie Police after they arrested the woman for shoplifting from a retail outlet on Bayfield St.
The 37-year-old from Barrie was also wanted by Barrie Police on two outstanding arrest warrants, which were also executed along with the charge of theft under $5,000 at police headquarters.
Along with the charges, she also received a 25-year trespass notice from the loss prevention officer prior to leaving the store, meaning she won't be welcome at any location nation-wide that is operated by the parent company.
The accused will have a bail hearing today by video.
