South Simcoe Police are seeking an arrest warrant after they allege a woman falsely identified herself when arrested.

“On Friday, September 22, 2023, at approximately 7:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on a street in the area of the 10th Line and 25th Sideroad in Innisil. A 34-year-old Barrie man was charged with operation while impaired, failure or refusal to comply with demand, operation while prohibited, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Police allege the woman falsely identified herself and provided a stolen driver’s licence from a 33-year-old woman from Severn.
