York Regional Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Sexual Assault In Aurora
Teen attacked Monday
York Regional Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect in sexual assault Monday morning in Aurora.
A teenage girl says she was attacked by a man armed with a handgun as she walked in the trails near John West Way just before noon.
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for her minor physical injuries.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, light-brown skin tone
- 20s
- Thin build
- Wearing a black shirt, black pants and a red baseball cap
Anyone with information or anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area at the time is asked to contact police immediately. Investigators are also appealing to any nearby businesses or residences that may have video surveillance, or any drivers who may have dashcam footage to please come forward.
