Young Girl Sent to Hospital After Orillia Hit-and-Run

Police Looking for Dark-Coloured Nissan Altima With Front Passenger Side Damage

Witnesses are needed after a hit and run put a twelve-year-old girl in hospital.

Investigators say the young lady was struck by a dark coloured sedan just before 8:00 Friday evening on East Street near James Street. Police say the vehicle did not remain on scene.

A 12-year-old girl was taken to Orillia hospital with non-life threatening wounds. The vehicle may have been a 2010-12 Nissan Altima, likely with a damaged passenger headlight.
