Every Father’s Day, families can fish without a license this Saturday and Sunday. But don’t forget to read up on the rules before you head out! You’re still required to meet Ontario fishing regulations for the Conservation fishing license.

The Kitchn

If you’re busy this Sunday but still want to spend time with dad, The Kitchn is hosting a 5-course Tasting Dinner on Saturday Night. The menu will include local fresh ingredients and fusion-style dishes.

Friday Harbour

Head to Friday Harbour for a Father’s Day weekend filled with car shows, live music, a beer garden, a taco truck, cigar rollers, Cutwater Tastings, golf, and more! Bring the whole family on Sunday and see if you can get the fastest time at the Family Obstacle Course.

Queen’s Hotel

Enjoy a night of Marvel-themed trivia this Sunday from 7 to 9 PM at Queen’s Hotel. While you’re there, grab a bite and a drink to make a night of it.

All In One Equestrian

Head out to All In One Equestrian for a Father’s Day Bonfire. The event includes horses, riding (optional), horseshoes, BBQ, and, of course, a bonfire! Guests must be over 18 and the event is BYOB.

Barrie Jazz & Blues Festival

If your dad is the kind of cat who’s down with the blues, why not take him out to one of the many shows happening all over town thanks to the Barrie Jazz & Blue Festival!

YMCA of Simcoe Muskoka

Join the YMCA Simcoe/Muskoka for a Father’s Day Potluck and Bingo. The Y will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers and buns. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish and will receive an extra ticket for the door prize if you do.
