T’is the season for Celtic music, Guinness beer, Irish car bombs and green everything! It’s almost St.Patrick’s Day and with that comes celebrations across the city. Since the holiday is on a Sunday this year, many locations are hosting their parties on the Saturday (March 16th) beforehand.

St.Patrick’s Day @ Donaleigh’s Irish Pub

What: One of the biggest St. Patty’s parties in town, Irish eats and live music with The Flailing Shillelagh’s.

Where: Donaleigh’s Irish Pub, 28 Dunlop St E

When: March 17th all day, musical performances 2 pm-6 pm & 9 pm-1 pm

St. Paddy’s Double Header @ The Bull & Barrel

What: 2 days of Irish food, green beer, prizes, giveaways and live music.

Where: The Bull and Barrel, 901-75 Cedar Pointe Dr

“Pre-St. Paddy’s Party” @ The Foxx Lounge

What: Live music from 3 different bands, Guinness, Irish Car Bombs, and Peppermint Paddy shots.

When: March 16th 9 pm-2 am

Cost: $5 cover, 19+ event

“St. Paddy’s Day Bash” @ Southshore Community Centre

What: Classic Irish Fare & Dinner, Music from Smoky Monaghan, Live & Silent Auction, “Minute to Win It” Style Games, Late night pizza. Proceeds go towards the RVH Cardiac Care Centre & Youth Mental Health Ward.

When: March 16th 6:30 pm-1 am

Get Shamrocked: Drag Show

What: 1st Annual St. Patrick’s Day drag show. Dress in green & gold and enjoy amazing drag performers, live DJ and $5 domestic beer & bar rail.

Live Music and Celebration @ Fionn MacCool’s

What: Irish eats, specialty menu items, and live music with Celtic duo “Fire When Ready”.

St. Patrick’s Day at Redline Brewhouse

What: Traditional Irish menu, specialty brew, live Irish entertainment with The Purveyors.

Kiss Fred, He’s Irish St Patricks Day Bash

What: An Irish themed party with all the essentials. “A few pints o’ the black stuff, a wee dance, some nosh with all yer Irish friends and family ’cause after all on this day ain’t we ALL Irish”.
