Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, is one of Time Magazines' 100 most influential people of 2022.

The magazine is out with its yearly list and says voters believed he deserves top honours, getting 5 percent of the overall vote.

SpaceX, and Tesla chief executive Elon Musk, came in second with 3.5 percent of the vote.

The list includes several other prominent figures, including Ontario's own Simu Liu.

Fellow Canadian Sandra Oh wrote about the Canadian actor, giving him huge accolades.

"Simu has been working hard to get through closed doors, and now he wants to hold those doors open for others. You see him doing that through the way he speaks out against hateful violence, his openness about his own experiences of isolation and discrimination, and his professional choices. He's our superhero."

Other featured include Pete Davidson, Adele, Zendaya, Mary.J. Blige, and Joe Rogan.
