12th Annual Walk Of Hope For Ovarian Cancer

Walk of Hope 2019

The Walk of Hope is a national event that takes place in over 30 communities across Canada. All proceeds raised at these events ($27 Million to date) go to support women fighting ovarian cancer.

The Barrie section of this event will start at the Southshore Community Centre on Sept 8th with early bird registration starting at 8:30 AM. The walk begins at 10 AM with a BBQ, face painting, silent auction, prizes, community art projects, and presentations at 12 PM.

Stacy LePage has been successfully fighting Cancer for 5 years

Co-chairing the event this year will be Stacey LePage who has been successfully fighting ovarian cancer for 5 years. Stacy will be celebrating this tremendous milestone at the event this year. You can find out full details about the event and sign up individually or with a team here.
