The Small Halls Festival in Clearview Township has been cancelled for a second year in a row.
Township council made the decision this after staff recommended it be cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.
“With careful consideration, we have to acknowledge that planning the award-winning Small Halls Festival for 2021 would be unrealistic in the current and unprecedented pandemic situation. It’s devastating to think that another year of festivals are affected; however, we only want to showcase the very best of rural living and the small halls, so once again, cancelling is the right thing to do,” said Amanda Murray, Community Culture and Tourism Coordinator.
The township looks forward to working its hall boards, community partners and sponsors to welcome visitors when the time is right, and it is safe to do so.
