$26,500 Raised During Giving Tuesday For Georgian Bay General Hospital

Money Raised Will Purchase 50 Patient Slings

Thanks to generous donations from the community, the Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) Foundation raised $26,500 in 24 hours as part of their Giving Tuesday Campaign.

On Tuesday December 3rd, the foundation raised enough money to purchase 50 patient slings. The slings help patients get out of bed to regain their independence and mobility after a life-altering illness or long episode of critical care.

Sixty-four individuals donated, with a matching gift of $10,000 from Nick & Marina Boudouris and Family.
