(Update) Motorcyclist killed in Highway 400 collision

A deadly collision Monday morning closed a portion of Highway 400 northbound at Highway 88.

Ontario Provincial Police say a motorcycle and pickup truck collided around six.

Police say the motorcycle rider, a 30-year-old East Gwillimbury man, was pronounced dead at the scene. They say there were no injuries to the driver of the pickup truck.

The highway was closed till around 11:00 a.m. as police investigated the crash.

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to contact Aurora OPP at 905-841-5777.
