Big Sky Music Festival

With everyone looking to get the sour taste of Roxodus out of their mouth, Big Sky Music Festival could be just the palate cleanser you need with Alabama, Travis Tritt, Diamond Rio, camping, craft market, and a classic car show! The festival takes place at Burl's Creek on July 20th!

The Cenotaph Project

Theatre By The Bay is putting on a unique production in the form of The Cenotaph Project. This play will shine a light on the lives of a few soldiers whose names are on our very own Barrie cenotaph. This looks to be a very interesting way to look at a piece of Barrie's history that has somewhat blended into the background of our downtown.

Donate Blood

With higher demand and fewer donors, summer is a tricky time for the Canadian Blood Services. With over 200 donors needed each week, book yourself an appointment today and give the gift of life!

Classics In The Park

Feast your eyes on some of the best looking vehicles to ever spin their wheels on Barrie tarmac with Barrie Thunder Classics. Corvettes, Cadillacs, Jaguars, Shelbys, and more will all be on display in Heritage Park on July 20th! Admission is free for the public and if you have a car you want to show off it's only $10 for entry!

Fundraising BBQ

The Barrie Colts are hosting a fundraising BBQ in support of minor midget AAA hockey team! There will be lots of hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, draws, and games along with a chance to meet the players! The BBQ takes place on July 20th from 11 AM to 3 PM at Sherwin Williams, 367 Cundles Rd.

Artists and Makers Market

Get your hands on some locally crafted goods at the Barrie Artists and Makers Market! Clothing, jewelry, trinkets and more will be on display at Barrie City Hall on July 20th from 8 AM to 12 PM! As an added bonus, it's right beside the farmers market so you can also get some locally sourced food as well!
