87-year-old dies of injuries from RV fire in Bradford

The Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze
Obstruction of Justice charges laid against an Innisfil resident

South Simcoe Police say an 87-year-old Bradford man injured in a fire in his RV earlier this month has died in hospital.

On Thursday, November 3, 2022, at approximately 11:20 a.m., the South Simcoe Police Service, the Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Emergency Services and County of Simcoe Paramedic Services responded to a fire in an RV in the area of Canal Road and Simcoe Road in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

The man was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and then transferred to a Toronto hospital where he died of his injuries three days later.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Office of the Fire Marshal.
