Cupid wasn't the kindest to two drivers on Saturday, who were both caught by Nottawasaga OPP to be impaired behind the wheel and driving erratically.

Just after 10 a.m., a traffic complaint alerted officers to a potentially impaired driver that had been swerving all over the road, turning against their turn signal, and seen staggering at a local gas station.

Police found the vehicle in Alliston , and upon a traffic stop arrested a 36-year-old man from Niagara Falls.

Later, just after 5:30 p.m., another traffic complaint concerned a driver that has gone into the ditch before continuing to drive north on Adjala-Tosorontio Townline. They were reportedly swerving all over the road, speeding, and failed to stop at a stop sign.

Eventually, the vehicle cleared away a mailbox and settled in a ditch. Officers then arrived to the scene and investigated. As a result, a 38-year-old man from Brampton was arrested.

Both men were released on undertakings and charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol content measuring above the legal limit. They had their drivers licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days, and are set to appear at a later date in a Bradford court.
