Ontario Provincial Police have charged a motorist with impaired driving following a two-vehicle crash in Tay Township.
It happened around 3:30 Monday afternoon on Highway 12, west of Reeves Road.
Police said there were no injuries as a result of the collision.
Investigators were told that one of the involved drivers had been operating a vehicle in an erratic manner prior to the crash.
After speaking with the driver, police said officers noticed signs of impairment and demanded a roadside breath sample, which registered a fail. The driver was arrested and taken back to the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment.
A 29-year-old Bracebridge man was charged with impaired driving, operation over 80 milligrams, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He was released with an undertaking and is to appear in court on Apr. 2.
As a result of the impaired driving charge, his licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle he was operating was impounded for seven days.
