Travelling between Muskoka and destinations around the world will soon get easier. Air Canada has announced that beginning June 15, 2026, its Landline luxury motorcoach service will expand to Muskoka Airport (YQA), creating a direct ground connection to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
The expansion marks a significant boost for residents, businesses, and the region’s tourism sector.
“Expanding Landline service to Muskoka Airport is an exciting step forward for the region,” said Maciej Habrych, Chief Executive Officer of Muskoka Airport Inc. “It provides residents and businesses with a convenient way to access Toronto Pearson and destinations around the world, while also making it easier for visitors to travel directly to Muskoka. Strengthening these connections helps support our local economy and reinforces the airport’s role as a key transportation hub for the region.”
Two Daily Round-Trips With Seamless Flight Connections
The new service will operate two round-trips per day between Muskoka Airport and Toronto Pearson. Passengers will travel on a single, integrated Air Canada itinerary, allowing for smooth transfers to flights across the airline’s international network.
Customers booking the service will receive:
- Full itinerary protection
- Aeroplan points
- Baggage tag printing
- Boarding passes for all trip segments
Travellers beginning their journey in Muskoka will check in at YQA, have their baggage tagged to their final destination, and then board a luxury motorcoach branded in Air Canada colours.
As an added incentive, parking at Muskoka Airport will be free until December 31, 2026.
Premium Motorcoaches With Accessibility Features
Passengers will travel in comfort aboard modern coaches that offer:
- Spacious leather seats
- Power outlets
- Complimentary high-speed Wi‑Fi
- Full accessibility, including a power lift
The Landline program is designed to provide a flight-like experience on the ground, while connecting smaller communities to major aviation hubs.
A Boost for Tourism and Local Travel
Local officials say the new link will support both economic development and tourism. “This new connection makes travelling to and from Muskoka easier for residents while also helping more visitors discover everything our region has to offer,” said Jeff Lehman, Chair of the District of Muskoka. “Muskoka Airport becoming a destination and origin on the Air Canada network through Landline is a big advantage for our community and our tourism economy.”
