Tow truck gets a tow after driver charged with impaired in Alliston

The driver of a tow truck was charged with impaired driving.

Ontario Provincial Police say that around 4 p.m. on May 9, they received a report of a suspected impaired driver operating a tow truck on Victoria Street in Alliston.

Within minutes, police located the vehicle in a nearby parking lot.

Officers began speaking with the driver and entered into an impaired driving investigation.

A 43-year-old from New Tecumseth was charged.
