Attempted robbery at gas station in Wasaga Beach

The suspects fled empty-handed

Police are looking for a man and woman in connection with an attempted robbery at a Petro Canada gas station on River Road West in Wasaga Beach.

OPP this happened just before 1:30 Sunday morning.

According to investigators, both suspects entered the establishment, the man approached the counter and asked for items, then he allegedly brandished a knife and demanded money.

The employee was able to scare off the pair and they fled empty-handed.

Suspect descriptions:

· Male, white, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, wearing a blue sweater with Bryan's Roofing on it, a red bandana covering his chin and grey track pants.

· Female, thin build, approximately 45 years old, brown hair, wearing a black sweater with a hood and white running shoes.
