A man and a woman from Innisfil face numerous charges after provincial police arrested a pair of suspects following a months-long drug trafficking investigation throughout Simcoe County.
Police say a search warrant was executed at an Innisfil residence last week and the accused were arrested.
During a search, police say they seized a handgun with two magazines, two replica handguns, a butterfly knife, cash, a cell phone, and drugs, including MDMA and psilocybin.
The suspects, both 31 years old, face weapon, drug, firearm, and property crime charges, and the male accused is also charged with three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
