Ontario Provincial Police say a seventh person has now been charged in a string of fires in new subdivisions in Adjala-Tosorontio Township.

Nottawasaga OPP say the investigation began in the fall of 2024 after unoccupied homes were set on fire.

The latest suspect, a 34-year-old man from Laval, Quebec has been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and arson.

Six other suspects, all from the Greater Toronto Area, were arrested and charged in December 2025.
