Provincial police executed a search warrant at an Essa Township residence around 5 a.m. Wednesday and arrested two men as part of a child abduction investigation.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a 41-year-old from Essa Township has been charged with abduction of a person under 16 years of age, luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and obstructing a peace officer.

A 20-year-old from Essa Township is charged with abduction of a person under 16 years of age.
Both suspects were held for a bail hearing.
