Barrie Police have charged a driver in connection with a head-on collision which occurred July 13 on Fairview Road.
The crash north of Harvie Road involved a pickup truck and a sedan.
The driver of the sedan was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver, a 62-year-old Barrie man, was uninjured.
Fairview Road was closed for more than six hours for the investigation and cleanup.
Police allege the sedan travelled over the centre line and into the path of oncoming traffic.
On Aug. 24, police charged a 64-year-old Barrie man with careless driving.
