Ontario Provincial Police named him Elliot.
A moose has been on the loose in Collingwood for the past several days, wandering around waterfront trails and neighbouring streets.

On Tuesday, police said the moose was captured with support from the Ministry of Natural Resources.
According to police, the animal was spotted in the area of the Arboretum and was tranquilized.
The moose was pulled from the water and onto a trailer.
Police added that Elliot will be relocated to a suitable habitat farther north.
