A man and a woman, both in their 30s, face mostly drug-related charges after Barrie Police executed a search warrant on Thursday at a downtown residence.
Police say a search of the place resulted in the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, several prescription pills, and a large amount of Canadian currency.
Both suspects were transported to police headquarters and later released from custody.
The charges include:
- possession of a controlled substance (5 counts)
- possession for the purpose of trafficking (3 counts)
- possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5000
The suspects have a court date in early October.
