Partial building collapse in Penetanguishene

Partial building collapse in Penetanguishene

The walls came crumbling down early this morning on a centuries-old building in Penetanguishene.

The collapse, on Main Street near Robert Street, happened around 3 a.m.

Residents of the apartments above the main floor business have been accounted for.

The 14 people that have been displaced are now living with family, friends or at a local hotel

Reports from the scene say a man, who fell from the second floor, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Main Street is closed in the area for the clean-up and structural inspections.
