Former Much Music VJ in Barrie this weekend to sign copies of his memoir "A Happy Has-Been"

Bill Welychka will be at Indigo on Mapleview Drive on Saturday September 30

Former Much Music VJ Bill Welychka will be signing copies of his memoir in Barrie this weekend.

The well-known face on Much Music through the '90s and early 2000s released his memoir "A Happy Has-Been" this summer, talking about his time in the entertainment industry, behind-the-scenes stories, and his connection to Barrie.

Welychka spent the latter half of his high school years in the Barrie area and graduated from Innisdale High School before landing the coveted job in Toronto.

He now lives happily in Kingston, Ontario, working for a local television station where he still uses his talent for interviewing and connecting with people.
