Southern Sundayz Food Truck has become Barrie's go-to spot for some late night eats. [perfectpullquote align="full" bordertop="false" cite="" link="" color="" class="" size=""]"It's a little southern comfort. I buy fresh chicken everyday and make my own cornbread and collard greens."[/perfectpullquote]
Owner Stacey Bowen is open late and it's often when she's super busy. "I get the bar crowds coming late for some chicken and waffles, it's always busy," says Bowen.
Must Try
While she's probably known for her chicken and waffles, it's actually the mac and cheese and the lemon pepper chicken wings that most regular customers recommend. For that truly down south food experience, try the cornbread and collard greens - both of which are made in-house by Bowen.
The Southern Sundayz Food Truck is open from Wednesday through Sunday. It's tucked into a walk-through alley off of Dunlop Street in Downtown Barrie.
