In the coming weeks, the need may arise for you to spend an extended period of time indoors but that doesn't mean you have to be bored. Here are a few video game and streaming service releases that should help keep you busy in March.
Netflix
Kingdom Season 2 (March 13th)
What would happen if zombies invaded 16th century Korea? Kingdom blends elements of suspense, horror, and political drama into a thriller that will have you saying "just one more episode". Season 2 was just released so now there are 12 juicy episodes to sink your teeth into.
Silver Linings Playbook (March 16th)
If you missed this movie when it came out in 2012, now is your chance to see it. It's an all-star cast including Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro, and Jennifer Lawrence who brought home the Oscar for best actress in a leading role for her portrayal of the Tiffany.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (March 16th)
Another fantastic film you may have missed, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a Cold War-era spy thriller about a semi-retired espionage veteran who must uncover a Soviet agent within M16. This one has yet another stellar cast including Colin Firth, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, and Mark Strong.
Ozark Season 3 (March 27th)
Starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, and Julia Garner, Ozark is a crime drama following the Bryde family's entanglement with the criminal underworld. This is one of Netflix's highest-rated shows and there's still plenty of time to catch up on the first two seasons before the next ten episodes drop.
Prime Video
Bates Motel (March 1st)
Brilliant and chilling, Bates Motel puts a whole new spin on Hitchcock's classic Film: Psycho . Learn about what happened to Norman Bates and his mother before the events of the film. All 5 seasons have been added to Prime Video for your binging pleasure.
Crawl (March 20th)
When a hurricane hits her Florida town, a young girl becomes trapped in a flooding house with alligators. This movie should have been a forgettable horror romp but somehow manages to pull down a solid score on Rotten Tomatoes. If you want an exciting monster-like movie to watch, Crawl is a good choice.
Making The Cut (March 27th)
Making The Cut is the newest reality show in a similar vein of shows like Project Runway where twelve contestants compete to become the next big fashion designer. After being canceled (due to fall of Harvey Weinstein) it was picked up for Prime Video with an important caveat: all designs seen on the show can be purchased online through Amazon.

Westworld season 3 (March 15th)
Westworld combines western elements with science fiction elements to create a unique and interesting story that is hard to turn away from. HBO is no stranger to creating top-quality series, and so far, they have another winner on their hands. Catch up as fast as you can and get ready for the third season.
The Plot Against America (March 16th)
Based on the acclaimed novel of the same name, The Plot Against America takes place in an alternate American history where Roosevelt is apposed in the 1940's election by a xenophobic populist who looks to turn the country to fascism. This is a six-part mini-series so can anyone say "all-nighter"?
Last Week Tonight (New episode on Sundays)
Last Week Tonight is on its fourth episode but a new one comes out every Sunday. Episodes are biting, hilarious, and more importantly, very informative. John Oliver and his team pull no punches and while it does mainly focus on American news and politics, it is all still highly relevant to Canadians.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (March 27th)
Quentin Tarantino's newest masterpiece (yes, I said it), Once Upon A Time In Hollywood follows Rick, a washed-out actor and his stunt double, Cliff. The film is funny, expertly directed, and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt who took home the Oscar for best actor in a supporting role.
Video Games
Animal Crossing: New Horizon (March 20th)
Animal Crossing hasn't seen a "true" entry in the series for nearly eight years so it's safe to say people are excited. This time around, instead of moving to a pre-existing town, you are dropped into a desert where you get to build your own from the ground up. This one is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and is rated E for everyone.
Doom Eternal (March 20th)
A follow up to the critically exclaimed 2012 reboot of the series, Doom Eternal is an unrelenting and fast-paced shooter that ups the ante with more weapons, traversal options, and a brand new multiplayer mode that pits one player-controlled doom slayer against 2 player-controlled demons. This one is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and is rated M for Mature.
Half-Life: Alyx (March 23rd)
If you are one of the lucky people who invested in Virtual Reality, you won't want to miss this release. While it isn't the long-awaited sequel to Half-Life 2: Episode 2 that we've all been waiting for, it is the first Half-Life game from Valve in over 13 years. It is compatible with a number of different VR headsets and looks quite technically impressive. This one is PC only and rated M for Mature.
The Divison 2: Warlords of New York (March 3rd)
If you're looking for something to dump some time into and you already own The Division 2, the recently released Warlord of New York expansion is sure to give you a lot of bang for your buck for the lower than full price admission. Travel back to the original games setting with all new skills, gear, and locations while exploring the mysteries of the story. This one is out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and is rated M for Mature.
