Two in hospital after collision on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte

Orillia OPP say two were sent to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 11 in Oro-Medonte.

On Sunday, April 10, around 10:30 p.m., Police say they responded to a collision involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle on Highway 11 northbound, north of Line 13.

Officers say due to extensive damage to the guardrail, the northbound lanes were closed for several hours.

Two occupants were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say a 20-year-old man faces careless driving charges.
