Located in Barrie, Gilda's Club is a cancer support community dedicated to providing emotional and social support to those living with cancer, along with their family and friends.
While they couldn't provide the traditional support they normally do this year, Gilda's Club has taken the pivot to online programming in stride. Along with helpful social events like yoga, journaling groups, and even trivia nights, they are also providing some special holiday events like Family Holiday Cookie Decorating which you can join from the comfortt of your own home.
Gilda's Club is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding. Instead, they rely on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners. With help from Barrie, Gilda's Club can continue to serve Simcoe Muskoka today, tomorrow, and beyond.
