Triple whammy: Three films hit with more delays

Film Delays
If you're like us, you were probably hoping we had seen the last of the delays that swept across the film industry in 2020. Unfortunately, not so, as three more big films have been hit with delays.

If you're like us, you were probably hoping we had seen the last of the delays that swept across the film industry in 2020. Unfortunately, not so, as three more big films have been hit with delays.

First up is Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which continues the story of the 1984 original and 1989 sequel and focuses on a new generation of Ghostbusters. Although they are passing the torch (or proton pack) in this movie, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are all returning to lend a hand. Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been pushed back to November 2021.

Next up is Uncharted, a new adaptation of one of Sony's most well-known (and beloved) video game character. Tom Holland will be starring as a young Nathan Drake, but you will now have to wait until February 2022 to see it.

Finally, No Time To Die, which is the 25th movie in the James Bond franchise and has already been hit with several delays, has seen yet another one and is being pushed to October 2021. The film once again stars Daniel Craig in the lead role and it will be his 5th time portraying 007.

It seems very unlikely but hopefully, these will be the last few delays we see, for these films at least.
