Who would have thought that the actor who played Jim from The Office would go on to direct one of the most highly praised horror films of the past half-decade? Well, the highly anticipated sequel to A Quiet Place is finally releasing this month and we get one more trailer to get us ready for the tension and scares it's sure to bring.
The film follows directly after the events of the first film so we won't spoil anything for you here (though, what are you waiting for? Watch it right now!). Emily Blunt returns to a starring role with husband John Krasinski behind the camera. However, this time around they will also be joined by the always wonderful Cillian Murphy (Inception, 28 Days Later) who plays a survivor named Emmett.
Now, here's the rub. The trailer makes a clear point of saying "only in theatres", so there won't be any sort of dual release plan for streaming services on this one. This means that here in Canada, we might be out of luck if theatres aren't open by the planned release date of May 28.
