Located at the Mapleview Community Church, the Drive-In Bollywood Extravaganza will be an incredible night full of delicious food, special entertainment, and all capped off with a drive-in style movie feature!
Before the movie, which will be the Bollywood hit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Don't worry, there will be subtitles for non-Hindi speakers), there will be dance shows and classes to entertain you and lots of Indian food trucks to fill your belly! There will also be plenty of popcorn and cotton candy to go around so you have some snacks for the movie!
Not only is this the first Bollywood event to be happening in Simcoe County, but it is also a fundraiser for two awesome not-for-profit organizations: the Ethnic Mosaic Alliance and the South Asian Association of Simcoe County.
Along with ensuring that safety is priority number one, Shelly Sarin, Chair of the Ethnic Mosaic Alliance, said "We know people have been itching to have some fun and we thought this was the perfect setting to do it".
