Hosted by Barrie Families Unite, the Winter Outerwear Donation Drive is collecting gently used items to help families in need this winter.
The drive is currently looking for winter coats, snow pants, boots, toques, and mitts. They are also accepting new sock and underwear donations and in the last stretch of the drive, they are hoping to see more kids' jackets, snow pants, and boots coming in.
If you have any items to donate, you can drop them off at any of the following locations:
- Roberts Company Auto Care - 140 Brock Street
- Menchies Frozen Yogurt - 379 Bayfield Street
- Home Hardware - All 4 Barrie locations in Barrie and Innisfil
- Around My Gluten Free Table - 411 Huronia Road
The items given to the Winter Outerwear Donation Drive will then be available to everyone on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Winter Outwear Free Pop-Up Shop on November 13 and 14. The pop-up shop will open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bayfield Mall Community Room (beside Pharma Plus).
