Whoopi Goldberg suspended from "The View" after comments about the Holocaust
Whoopi Goldberg has been suspended from the show "The View" following her remarks about the Holocaust, saying it wasn't about race.
The co-hosts discussed a non-fiction graphic novel about surviving the Holocaust on Monday's episode.
Goldberg commented saying, "Let's be truthful about it because the Holocaust isn't about race. It's about man's inhumanity to man."
Goldberg later issued an apology on social media and on-air.
"The holocaust was indeed about race because Hitler and the Nazis considered the Jews to be an inferior race," Goldberg said.
"Words matter, and mine are no exception. I regret my comments, and I stand corrected."
"I stand with the Jewish people, as they know, and as you all know, because I've always done that."
The President of ABC News says Goldberg is suspended for two weeks to reflect and think about her comments.

He revealed that he recently had one of the best days when he found himself home alone, able to cook and eat anything he wanted. So, he grilled up a couple of steaks had a glass of "the most amazing" wine.

Simon Cowell suffers a broken arm after another E-Bike crash
Simon Cowell is at home recuperating after being injured in an E-Bike accident.
It happened last week near his home in London.
The Americas Got Talent Judge suffered a broken arm when he slipped on a wet patch and flew over the handlebars.
Reports say he landed in the middle of the road and wasn’t wearing a helmet.
This isn’t the first time Cowell had a crash on his E-bike. He broke his back in 2020 and went through an extensive recovery and rehab.
Sources say he has no plans on ditching the bike but will start wearing a helmet.
