Sesame Street Actor Emilio Delgado dies at 81 years
It's a sad day on Sesame Street.
Emilio Delgado, the man who played long-time Sesame Street resident Luis, has died.
For two years, the 81-year-old actor and children's entertainers had been battling multiple myeloma, a blood cancer.
He passed away on Thursday in New York, surrounded by his family.
The Mexican- American actor first appeared on Sesame Street in 1971 as the 'Fix-it-Shop' owner and stayed in that role for over 40 years.
An entire generation remembers him and his on-screen partner Maria getting married in 1988 and having a baby girl, Gabi
The family was a staple on the show throughout the '80s and '90s.
When not working on Sesame Street, he continued to work regularly on television, making appearances on "House of Cards" and "Lou Grant"
He also did voiceovers for the video game "Red Dead Redemption."
Jussie Smollett sentenced to jail time for staging a hate crime
Actor Jussie Smollett will spend five months in jail after being convicted of staging a fake hate crime.
Yesterday, the 39-year-old former star of the hit series “Empire” was sentenced in a Chicago courtroom.
In December, a jury convicted Smollett on five counts of disorderly conduct.
In addition to spending 150 days in jail, he’ll be on probation for 30 months.
He must also pay a $ 25thousand fine and an additional $120 thousand in restitution to the city of Chicago.
Troubles started for Smollett in January 2019 when he claimed he had been the target of a racist and homophobic attack.
He was arrested a few months later when police said he paid two brothers to stage the attack.

BTS Fans use clappers when banned from clapping or shouting
When BTS hit the stage in South Korea yesterday, fans had to contain their excitement.
The K-pop group returned to the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul, Korea, for their “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour.
Before the show, their Management company Big Hit Music stated that clapping, shouting, and standing up were prohibited.
Instead, the company supplied plastic clappers to show excitement and emulate clapping noises.
Overall, the noise sounded kind of cool.
With a capacity of seventy thousand people, the stadium was limited to fifteen thousand.
They have two more shows in Seoul, with the March 12 show being broadcast in movie theaters worldwide.
