Comedian Tom Arnold says a few health scares, including a mini-stroke, pushed him to make significant changes in his life.
In an interview with US Weekly, the 63-year-old revealed he's lost 75 pounds since a January incident that caused him to lose his vision temporarily.
He explains;
"I was giving the kids a bath and turned around to count to 10 when suddenly my vision in my right eye went black as if there was a curtain coming down over my eye.""I had a mini-stroke. I checked into the hospital for the 24-hour stroke protocol."
The stroke was in addition to major organ failure the actor suffered two years ago. His doctor recently changed his medication, but he knew he had to make greater changes to get healthy.
To help him get started, he turned to a life coach.
" He ( life coach) stresses the importance of emotions and thinking about what you deserve; that was a huge game-changer for me."
In addition to his weight loss and health transformation, Tom's also celebrating five years of sobriety.
