Actress Anne Heche is in stable condition following a fiery car crash on the weekend.

Reports say she was driving her Mini Cooper on a suburban Los Angeles Street on Friday afternoon when she was involved in two separate crashes.

The first occurred when she crashed into the garage of an apartment complex. Witnesses tried to help her, but she fled from that scene before crashing her car into a separate home.

This was a far more serious crash which immediately ignited the house and her car into flames.

It took nearly 60 firefighters more than an hour to put out the flames.

She was taken from her vehicle and immediately transported to the hospital suffering from burns and had to be intubated.

Her representatives say she is in stable condition. “Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time,” her rep added.

As for the house she went through, reports say she drove almost straight through the one-story home, causing severe structural and fire damage.

According to” People Magazine,” the occupant of the house was in a separate area when it happened and was not hurt.

However, they lost most of their possessions.
