Comedian James Corden is being called out for his rude attitude at a popular New York restaurant.
Keith McNally, the owner of 'Balthazar' claims the Late Late Show host is a "gifted comedian but a tiny cretin of a man" following a recent visit to the establishment.
In an Instagram post, McNally called out the comedian for disrespecting staff.
The latest incident was this month when Mcnally says Corden was dining with his wife.
"Mr. Corden's wife ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad. A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, M. K., and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk. "
"The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad."
"He began yelling like crazy to the server: 'You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!' "
He says the manager gave them complimentary champagne to smooth things over, but the server was upset by the experience.
"M.K. was very shaken but, being the professional she is, continued to finish her shift," McNally says.
Mcnally explains he doesn't often ban customers but had to 86 Corden.
Since posting about the comedian's bad behaviour last night, Mcnally updated the situation, saying Corden gave him a call and apologized. It looks like he might be able to come back, but he is on thin ice.
